Prismatic's lush, textural guitar soundscapes extrapolate ideas first developed in earlier works, combining Knapp's trademark intricate counterpoint with extended hypnotic oscillations, and translating the distinctive qualities of light and color into the medium of sound.  The epic title track expands layered collage techniques developed in past works into a psychedelic journey of cinematic proportions.  The overwhelming sun shower "Aprismatic," and the hazy "Roy G. Biv" apply minimalistic principles and imperceptible evolution to produce dense walls of texture, while the rousing "Reflected (Again)" assembles an ever-shifting construction using sonic reflections.
